A snowmelt system is used to remove snow and ice via embedded electric cables or hydronic tubing. Common areas for snowmelt systems are: driveways, walkways, parking areas, stairways, loading docks, and car washes. The HBX Snowmelt controls utilizes a unique sensor technology that allows you to detect the rate of snow rather than a continuity sensor, where the sensor turns once exposed to moisture.
